Just scrolling through my usual daily tech blogs and stumbled across this absolute piece of absurdity.  It’s not bad enough that I am spending time ranting about how lazy and complacent we have all become... now this!

TiVO (you know, that thing you are all addicted to because you think it actually saves you time because you don’t have to watch commercials) has joined efforts with Domino’s to bring you this masterpiece of human evolution... digital TV Pizza ordering.

Yes ladies and gentlemen... now you can sit at home, on your lazy you know what and no even have to talk to someone to get your artificial food delivered to your door.  Excellent!  I LOVE, and I mean LOVE technology used for the benefit of humanity.

So doesn’t this make some of you think?  I mean really?  Last night when I was running I ran by a Carl’s Jr.  Now it’s Sunday at 9 PM and most of the restaurants were closed or empty.  But this place was “busting at the seams” (as you’ll read further... literally).  I looked inside as I ran by and observed something somewhat horrifying.  Almost EVERY person in there (except for 3... and yes I counted) was overweight (in non PC language... fat).  I was saddened.  The lack of thinking about what we eat has become so common that these people don’t see each other with the same perspective anymore.  It was like a scene out of

Wall-E when the future humans ballooned to an average weight of 300 lbs. over 500 years of being lazy.

So here it is, your friendly Cable Provider/TiVO/Government Mandated Broadband Digital TV dudes giving you the finest use for this new technology.
