Video: 24 Hours of Earth Time Lapse, EchoStar 11 Satellite, by Homo Sapien Sapien
Song: High Roller by The Crystal Method The Crystal Method - Vegas - High Roller

What you just watched is the most advanced step Homo Sapien Sapien has made in it’s entire history on this planet.  We have ENGINEERED a machine that we sent into space, that sits at a specific location which is calculated by us.  This machine captures images of OUR HOME PLANET… in color, and transmits them to us wirelessly, so we can see a full cycle of a day, with the life giving light of the Sun, AND THE ROTATION OF THE MOON, AROUND our home planet… as if we were sitting there watching is… but get this… we make it available for EVERY person with internet access to see…. That my friends, is the pinnacle of human evolution, and the advancement of science to advance the human race, and the planet, and Life.

Welcome my friend to the beginning of the new era.  You are a fortunate soul, because compared to the rest of humanity, very few of us have seen a change in era.  Imagine being one of the humans who witnessed the agricultural revolution.  Imagine being part of the few who discovered the heavens, and saw the first signs of planets around ours.  Today, you are part of the beginning of the transformation of the human race.  The technological revolution.  This is the era where Homo Sapien will have to careful walk the line that lead them up to this point, and now make a 180° turn and remember where it came from and why it came all this way.

Life is about procreation, but in this final stage, we are faced with the decision of whether we will acknowledge the impact of 6 billion homo sapiens consuming natural resources at exponential rates, or we will use the technologic advanced of humanity to make our lives less useful and more lazy.

A dear friend of mine recently sent me a link to a TED Talk (if you haven’t checked them out yet, you really need to), and I didn’t get a chance to view it for a while.  So I recently made the time to watch the talk.  The speaker Juan Enriquez (check out his bio HERE), in his discussion (HERE) he forecast that in the near future, we will see a new species of homo sapien, homo evolutis.  Like most other species, there is evidence that shows overlap of the time they spent in an era.  Evolution is an ongoing process, and it would be naive of us to think that it is going to stop with us.  Rather, we are going to change our role in the concept of evolution.  Instead of having natural selection express itself on us, we are going to be the dictators of evolution and the advancement of life.

You see, the problem is that life is THE MOST precious commodity in the universe.  The manifestation of (what we all agree is an abstract idea) consciousness or spirit, in the physical form.   This fragile process is just as vulnerable as it is beautiful.  So it makes sense for life to try it’s hand at creating an organism that can perpetuate life elsewhere in the universe.  I really want you all to try for a second and wrap your minds around this concept.

Think of Life as an organism.  Think of the idea of Life being a process that spirit experiences matter.  If it is looked at from this perspective, then it makes sense for it to strive to continue, just as the organisms in Life do.  So Life is trying to create a life-form, that can harness the very essence of life, and pass it throughout the universe.  Homo Sapien is that organism.

If this really is case, then Homo Sapien is the exquisite pride and joy of millions of years of evolutionary strife.  Look at yourselves.  You are masterpieces of creation.  Perfect in every mechanical, and philosophic form.  Capable of creating devices that will allow you to out perform any physical manifestation of Life.  Birds can fly, but we can fly higher, faster and longer.  Cheetahs are fast, but we can move faster on different kinds of terrain with minimal effort.  Every physical limitation is being engineered away.  Every domain is being conquered.  Micro-organisms like bacteria are being ensnared as slaves and operate as our factory workers for antibiotics, food, energy and a whole list of other applications.  We build structures that would never exist.  We appreciate our home from a perspective that no other life form on this planet has been able to… from space.  Our species is the culmination of all the efforts Life has put into an evolved life form.

My question then is why is it that the most promising organism alive on this world is wasting it’s time fighting wars against itself, and selling itself the idea that money is the most important thing in life.  We place value on anything that is obtainable via a monetarily based system.  You can buy nice cars, and nice houses, and nice clothes.  But you cannot buy honesty, honor, respect.  These are things that are passed on with the ancient system of the oral tradition.  Taught from one generation to another.  But in our technologic world, we have lost ourselves, and let our creations teach our kids.  We no longer stop our children from straying from their purpose in this world, but rather invite it into their lives.  We live teaching them that bigger cars, bigger houses, and more stuff, all mark the finish line in the race of success for a human being.  Education now focuses on achieving success in your career and getting all the stuff that goes with that success.

Everywhere you look, people want more stuff.  They aspire to own cars, live in bigger houses, and just collect more stuff.  We never give a second to think about the potential of being a different kind of being.  Imagine a world where we started to actually use our resources to educate every person.  Imagine a world where science lead the way, and these advanced hairless apes now travelled the solar system and had a complex network of resource and life management across multiple planets.  This is what we are capable of.

But instead of focusing our technology, I mean really focusing all of our resources and energy on the technologic advancement of the human race and of life, with a resource based economy that insures the education and health of every being, we build shopping centers, and fill them with enough stuff to clothe, furnish and feed the entire world.  Our economy is not based on the advancement of the human race, rather the satisfaction of our shared dirty little secret… greed.  We want profit, we want more, and we don’t care if the guy next to us doesn’t have any.

Look, here is some perspective on this weirdo stuff in my head… if we look at inflation adjusted numbers, the current wave of bailouts costs more than all of these big budget government expenditures in the past combined:

• Marshall Plan: Cost: $12.7 billion, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $115.3 billion
• Louisiana Purchase: Cost: $15 million, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $217 billion
• Race to the Moon: Cost: $36.4 billion, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $237 billion
• S&L Crisis: Cost: $153 billion, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $256 billion
• Korean War: Cost: $54 billion, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $454 billion
• The New Deal: Cost: $32 billion (Est.), Inflation Adjusted Cost: $500 billion (Est.)
• Invasion of Iraq: Cost: $551b, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $597 billion
• Vietnam War: Cost: $111 billion, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $698 billion
• NASA: Cost: $416.7 billion, Inflation Adjusted Cost: $851.2 billion

TOTAL: $3.92 trillion
BAILOUT: $4.6165 trillion and growing.

For those who prefer graphics, go HERE.

The point is that we are pumping out money for things that could be used to solve all of the problems out species is going to face in the next 20 years… food shortage, water shortage, oil shortage, and a long list of really nasty medical things.

Why are you allowing for this to happen? Do you not care about your children and their future?  The fact that you live your lives and just go alone with the normal world, hunky dory is just not going to work.  Things cannot sustain themselves this way.  I know that if you think about it, you will derive the same conclusion.  It really is not an opinion, it is just simple science.

Future Arms Today...

In the video, Juan Enriquez talks about the next generation of homo sapien.  He bases this ideal on the premise that we acknowledge that our current economic model is not sustainable.  He is right.  The system that is based on consumer debt, and consumption is not the system that takes into consideration the advancement of the human race, and of life.  Rather, a system that revolves around science, education and technology will continue to flourish indefinitely because at it’s very core is logic, intellect and scientific process.

Merged with Beauty!

I have always had my variation of Mr. Enriquez’ talk… I pose the question why then with all this advanced ability, why do we waste our time making malls, building track homes, and selling things and lifestyles to each other, when we are here to serve a higher purpose.  Even religion has been derailed, where the higher purpose is to go to an alter and pray “hoping” or “believing” that something will change, not actually BEING the change.

Homo sapien is the crown jewel of evolution of creationism.  Either model puts us at the top with our ability to feel emotion, our ability to craft tools, our ability to harness the power of nature, out ability to engineer around any problem.  But because of our insatiable appetite for stuff, we have been derailed from our prime role on this spaceship we call Earth.  This appetite for stuff does not end with clothes, cars and houses.  With the appearance of homo evolutis on the stage of evolution, you will start to see people with the new and improved vision systems, and hearing systems that Mr. Enriquez talks about.  EXCEPT… what he fails to acknowledge as an idealistic scientist is that it will be sold to you NOT to improve life as the next form of homo sapien and to advance life; but rather, it will be sold for entertainment.  HD zoom eyes with a built-in bluetooth connection to streaming data so when you are watching the Lakers your digital zoom eyeball will have a ticker with stats and live internet streams of all the data you “think” is important for your sporting experience.  Of course there will be a monthly subscription.

Look at the technology of listening devices and how it has bled into regular life as the ubiquitous bluetooth headset.  So now every person, regardless of whether they are actually talking or not, is walking around with a headset and a flashing blue light stuck to their cranium?  This has got to be a bad dream… someone wake me up!  The emergence of cell phones as this “must have” device is just ludicrous.  Why are we so addicted to communicating about nothing?  Think back ten years ago when we didn’t ALL have cell phones, and what did we do in our cars?  What are we talking about now, that we weren’t talking about then?  So why is it so important now that every person you look at in the freeway is yapping away on a phone.

This article will serve as the first in a series of updates on your new neighbor, homo evolutis.  I will give you insight into some of the most interesting and shocking technologic advancements in medicine and robotics.  I feel it is critical to give the public access to this information because without thinking, you will all adopt this “better” way of life… and piece by piece give away your humanity and slowly morph into a “borg” styled mess referred to so lovingly referred to by Mr. Enriquez as homo evolutis.

There is no better way of LIVING.  Living is when the spirit (whether you consider it a soul, or the additive result of neuronal activity) occupies an organic body, and experiences the world.  It is only when you understand this, remove your bluetooth headset, and go for a walk in the park without your cell phone, when you realize how cluttered and stressed your new borg life is.  Our ears have muted out and become accustomed to the background noise of the city and cars.  But in reality, you evolved to listen to birds, the sound of the wind and the blissful silence of nature.  Do me this favor and count how many airplanes you hear fly over you in a day, and ask yourself: is that natural?  What effect does that have on my psyche?

Brave new times await you homo sapien.  It starts with an earpiece, then zoom glasses, which will morph into a digital eye, and then mechanical limbs, and organs, and before you know it the insertion of consciousness into the network… but I think I’ve gone too far for the first article.

There are many questions that this article has generated for me. And, I apologize, for thinking out loud.

One thing that struck me while reading is this battle between science and religion. I feel as though we have created scientific advancement for the domination over another culture. And the only reason we want to dominate another culture is to spread various religious dogma. And, ironically, most science refutes that which religion teaches us, i.e. evolution v. creationism. Again, I am thinking out loud, but I am wondering what other readers think of this… the idea that we are using science to proliferate our religious ideals, all the while condemning scientific advancement because it is against our belief system..??? Just a thought…

Another thing, since I studied evolution for my degree, is the idea of homo technologicus. Evolution specifically works on genes. And, even though we may be creating this half human/half machine beings, we still will not be able to get our genes to create hardware. Therefore, I propose we are seeing three versions of homo sapiens… current homo sapiens, homo technologicus, and a next level of evolved homo sapiens. It would be ignorant of us, given what we know about evolution and the knowledge that there is overlap, to not believe that there is genetic variant of homo sapiens. The question becomes.. what has reproduction and mating determined to be the next level of genetic mutation to cause the next evolution. If you look at current mating practices, it’s ridiculous. Many people choose mates not on the ability to survive in the wild, as we historically have chosen mates. We now choose mates on their ability to survive the bi-annual Nordstrom’s sale. I guess all I am saying is if we look to the future, to reiterate what you have written is, what kind of humans do we want to survive and succeed? What is our responsibility to the future?

Again, thinking out loud… sorry for the rambling on. But, I am curious as to what other readers think of all of this….

Nope. You didn’t go too far for the first article. It’s coming folks. The blind can now see -Nokia phone reads signs & menus through photo’s translated to words http://bit.ly/3sV7q. Confession…Fortunate that my commute is along a serene stretch of CA coastline, PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy). I turn everything off (including music) and open all windows and breathe in the salty air, which still tastes good despite the fumes from the car in front of me. But sadly today, after an unyielding day of work with many more hours of work ahead of me while my kids sleep and I don’t, it occurred to me that this hour could be better spent if there was an application allowing me to access my online work mentally while driving. Then, much to my relief, it occurred to me that an even better use of this commute time would be just sitting on the beach completely un-wired and taking in the salty air without the CO2 emissions from aforementioned vehicle. I agree that a new responsibility for the technos among us, and honestly everyone, is to turn it all off and be present. In reference to irresponsible child-rearing, I call it distracted parenting. But maybe it really is distracted living. To that end, I think I will take the kids to the beach tomorrow.

Prof… you’re totally right… turning it off is an experience that the artificial experience of inserting ourselves into the “network” will not ever be able to mimic. Allowing for the already present “virtual world” to work its magic on our spirit is something that many people have completely lost touch with.

I got rid of my TV a long time ago. No TV, no cable bill. I also got rid of all my clocks, and watch. The idea of living completely tied into the grid and relinquishing control to the system around us is not what Life has is mind for the greatest of it’s creations.

Sorry to be the Dept of Redundancy Dept, however…En route to gym yesterday received a phone call from my mom. She was headed to hospital for biopsy of growth to determine if cancerous. Of course, the eternal mother, she didn’t want to unnecessarily alarm me or my brother, but decided we should know on the front-end of what might lie ahead of us. Why do I tell you this? You MUST take the time to watch in its entirety futurist Juan Enriquez explain in layman’s terms that man’s ability to thrive [survive] depends on our mastery of genomic code http://bit.ly/stGo. Thanks, Doc. TED is brilliant.
